Hong Kong is a small country, but it has produced a world-class landscape photographer who was born and raised there. At the age of 19, he won the "2015 National Geographic Global Photography Competition Youth Category" championship with his work "Wild Child Chasing Dreams in the World" taken at Fei Ngo Shan. Kelvin did not stop there. Last year, he won the Open Category Championship, Nature Category Championship and Best Aerial Image Award in the International Panorama Photography Competition with a series of wilderness and polar scenes. He also became the only A Chinese person has won the highest honors of "Photographer of the Year" in both the "International Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition" and the "International Panorama Photography Competition", making "Hong Kong Photographers" appear on the international stage.

Kelvin Yuen's international award-winning works are on display
Kelvin Yuen, the global champion of the 2024 International Panorama Photography Competition, will hold a book release and autograph session for his WILDERNESS collection at the Central Market from February 8 to 16. This time, he will select 12 top-level works. The exhibition features a wide range of works, including award-winning series, showcasing a little-known side of the world’s wilderness. The works on display are full of strong personal artistic style, and each one is a work of art that can stand the test of time.
WINDERNESS: The Second Epic Polar Landscape Art Collection
Since the release of his first personal collection "KELVINISM", Hong Kong landscape photographer Kelvin Yuen has maintained his consistent attitude of pursuing excellence and constantly breaking through. He launched the extreme photography project "WILDERNESS EXPEDITION" to continuously explore the world's most magnificent wilderness scenery. The combination of mountains and art continues the "perfect" and "ultimate" craftsmanship.
This collection of works combines a total of 100 works from the "WILDERNESS EXPEDITION" series shot in wilderness around the world, including the world's highest Himalayas, Canada's remote Northwest Territories, China's undeveloped uninhabited areas, as far as South America. Remote and pristine areas such as the Patagonia Mountains, including never-before-published works. The entire work took more than three years from planning to on-site shooting, and the shooting process faced countless extreme and high-altitude shooting environments; it is a painstaking work and is definitely worth collecting.
